Application Promotion of Sustainable Products

The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is an international organization consists members from all over the world. TSC aims to improve the sustainability of consumer products by establishing scientific research foundations of incentive innovation in collaboration with different stakeholders. Since 2014, cooperated with TSC, DOBE has officially implemented capacity buildings of sustainable supply chains to popularize the application of TSC Product Sustainability Toolkits and the reporting guidance tool for Chinese manufacturers and TSC members.
      The services DOBE provides include:
     •Product research and investigation, analysis of key issues
       Investigating the life cycle of products, identifying key issues in the selection the raw material, production and consumption
     •Capacity building
       Organizing a series of capacity buildings (e.g.: training, seminar, etc.) to popularize the idea of product sustainability

Guidance and assistant
Helping suppliers and manufacturers to build ability of using and applying sustainable tools and to implement energy conservation and emission reduction, thus improving their environmental and social performance

     •Solutions
        Providing enterprises with economically feasible solutions to improve their sustainability
Between the year of 2014 and 2015, DOBE organized 5 capacity buildings, covering the fields of textile and garment, stuffed toys, electronics, hardware, etc. Delegates of manufacturers, deputies of industrial procurement, enterprises’salesmen, technical experts in the industrial manufacturing and other relevant stakeholders were invited into these capacity buildings. By attending these training, enterprises have effectively increased the sustainability of their products and the ability of evaluating energy conservation and pollution reduction. Furthermore, this project has also improved the relationships between suppliers and brands and raised the brand awareness and social responsibility of enterprises.
