ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) plans to have a group environmental management and control agreement consisting of 22 contracted brands, 33 value chain affiliates, and 14 partners. Among the contracted brands include ADIDAS, BURBERRY, GAP, Li Ning LEVI STARAUSS & CO, HM, INDITEX, M&S, NIKE, ESPRIT and other 23 well-known brands from the global textile industry.
ZDHC's mission is to promote zero-emissions of hazardous chemicals in the apparel and industry value chains to improve the environment and livelihoods. ZDHC Academy provides ZDHC-certified training to brands and manufacturers to improve their responsible chemicals management. Knowledge level and practical ability.

ZDHC has released the Production Restricted Substances List (MRSL) ZDHC MRSL V1.1, which limits the deliberate use of chemicals in the production process of textile, apparel and footwear components. It specifies acceptable concentration limits for these chemical substances in chemical formulations in production plants that are designed to prevent the deliberate use of listed chemicals. The purpose of MRSL is to manage the use of this part of the chemical by the supplier and to eliminate these hazardous substances in the production process.
In January 2019, Suzhou Daobo Environmental Protection Technology Service Co., Ltd. and Nanjing University EHS Center were authorized by ZDHC to provide basic management of chemical management for the brand supply chain in major textile producing countries. The training uses the ZDHC unified textbook, which is explained by the ZDHC-accredited senior trainer, and provides the chemical management basic course training to the relevant practitioners of the enterprise in combination with the actual production of the enterprise.
After the training passes the exam, a training certificate issued by ZDHC will be issued.
